Fraser Valley Coaching
is a company based on the belief that everyone is able to have success
in their lives. I believe that all activities should increase choice
and wholeness. While I do not intend to replace any psychological treatment one may be going through, my philosophy is that coaching or therapy is for people interested in gaining an awareness of what strategies they are using to create their results. Not happy with the results? Change the way you are doing things; coaching assists you with ‘How to.’ It is for people unsure of where they are going in life, and it is for those who want to set goals and achieve them.
Coaching is a technique I use to assist people in attaining their personal best, as well as facilitating awareness and resolution. Coaching can bring to light the motivations and strategies already being used to get the current results.
- Coaching is working with a client to find options that the client may not have thought about.
- When we work together, we will work at expanding perceived opportunities, options and resources.
- With Coaching, we will learn how three simple questions can change your whole mindset.
- "How are you thinking?" Though this might seem to be a strange question, it is how we think about ourselves and our lives that determines how we move through our lives and our successes.
- Emotionally impactful states or memories can limit you or keep you stuck in the past. With my style of Coaching, we work together to release the unwanted emotions, while retaining the lessons or message of the event.
- Through Coaching we will learn to "anchor resourceful states," which can assist you in moving past unpleasant thoughts, motivating yourself forward, or even preparing for speeches!
- What are your goals? Goal setting shows you the steps you will need to take, and we will create an action plan to move you closer to your goals.
Individual and group settings are available. I prefer to keep the groups small and personal with about 6-8 people. This way, there is an individually focused learning environment within the group setting.
Working together,
we are able to create a new set of tools to ease movement through this
concrete jungle. We are able to gain a state of control within a few
minutes, rather than weeks or months. It is truly amazing how, by
working with our mental patterns, we can effect such huge changes in
all areas of our lives. What comes to mind is, "If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always gotten; is that enough?"
Not happy with your results? What actions are you taking to get what you truly want? Do you really know what it is that you truly want? Do you have your goals and dreams defined or are they abstract and unclear? How do you feel about your future? How do you feel about your possibilities of getting different results?
My coaching style is based on NLP: Neuro (brain or mind) Linguistic (our language) Programming (the automatic things we do such as habits and the unconscious way we run our lives). NLP is the study of how the mind interprets what we say and think, to ourselves and to the world, and what effect that has on our lives. When we don't like our results, we might take a look at how we are thinking about the situation and what learning can come from it.
Fraser Valley Coaching also works with the study of the 'limiting decisions' we make and how they can become beliefs that motivate us in a direction that we do not intend. We can discover how unwanted emotions may be hindering the enjoyment and fun we deserve in life.
Are you getting the results you want from your decisions in life? After all, it is just a decision!
I assist my clients in creating a plan to start changing how they speak to themselves, how they create thoughts and behaviours, and to remain accountable for their actions. Achieving excellence takes work, though. If you never start, you’ll never get there. I am here to stand beside you and assist you to make it an easy and enjoyable adventure. I provide my clients with techniques to take home and share with their families, and tools to maintain a plan for achieving excellence.
Sometimes amazing advancements in personal development can be overshadowed by the hype of all the 'instant gurus' out there. Fraser Valley Coaching includes a 3-month after-care program where you have a Coach to talk to you by phone or
e-mail.
