Fraser Valley Coaching
is a company based on the belief that everyone is able to have success
in their lives. I believe that all activities should increase choice
and wholeness. While I do not intend to replace any psychological treatment one may be going through, my philosophy is that coaching or therapy is for people interested in gaining an awareness of what strategies they are using to create their results. Not happy with the results? Change the way you are doing things; coaching assists you with ‘How to.’ It is for people unsure of where they are going in life, and it is for those who want to set goals and achieve them.
My coaching style is partly based on NLP: Neuro (brain or mind) Linguistic (our language) Programming (the automatic things we do, such as habits, quirks and the way we run our lives). NLP is the study of how we use words and pictures of what we think of our lives, our successes, our lessons in life and what effect that has on our life. Learning how to use this style of internal communication changes our state of mind, our physiology and then our behaviour. Supportive communication leads to supportive behaviour.
Fraser Valley Coaching also works with the study of limiting decisions and how they can
become beliefs that motivate us in a direction that we do not intend. We can discover how unwanted emotions may be hindering the enjoyment
and fun we deserve in life. Are you getting the results you want from your decisons in life? After all, it is just a decision!
Working together,
we are able to create a new set of tools to help us move through this
concrete jungle. We are able to gain a state of control within a few
minutes, rather than weeks or months. It is truly amazing how, by
working with our mental patterns, we can effect such huge changes in
all areas of our lives. What comes to mind is, "If we keep on doing the things we have been doing, we’ll keep on getting what we have been getting; is that enough?"
I am aware that amazing advancements in personal development are often
overshadowed by the hype of all the 'instant gurus' out there. I
include a 3-month after-care program in which you have a Coach to talk
to you by phone or e-mail.
I am also available for working with groups. I like to keep the
groups small, about 6-8, as this way, there is an individually focused
learning environment. I assist my clients in creating a plan to start changing how they speak to themselves, how they create thoughts and behaviors, and to remain accountable for their actions. Achieving excellence takes work, though, if you never start, you’ll never get there. I am there to stand beside you and assist you to make it an easy and enjoyable adventure. I provide my clients with techniques to take home and share with their families, and tools to maintain a plan for achieving excellence.
